- A written estimate spelling out the prep, the repairs and the paint he will use
- Help choosing products and colors - and with HOA color approval if you need it
Helpful to mention
- Interior, exterior, or both - and roughly which rooms or walls.
- Anything special: cabinets, rotten wood or siding, a deck, shutters or a front door.
- Roughly when the house was built, if it might be before 1978.
- Whether you are working to a date, such as a sale or a move, or need HOA approval.
What happens after you send this
Albert gets back to you to talk through the job and set up a time for the free estimate. He will go over what you want done, look at the condition of the surfaces and the wood, and point out anything that needs repair before it is painted - then put it all in writing.
No prices are given over the phone, because the amount of repair, prep and protection a job needs decides the price - and none of that can be seen from a description.
